Density Chart

Hair density refers to how thick or thin your hair is. Choosing density is a personal choice and your styling preferences should help you determine the best choice. You may refer to the following chart for more information:

Very Light Density: This density is 80% thickness of an average head of hair. It is recommended for people whose natural hair does not have much volume or thickness and they want to recreate that look. Light density on a lace front or full lace wig shows a good deal of scalp so it may not be the best choice for everyone.

Light: This density is 100% thickness of an average head of hair. It is the most popular density for full lace wigs and is usually constructed with light density at the hair line and medium density throughout the rest of the wig. This is the most natural looking and most recommended by top stylists.

Medium: This density is 120%-130% thickness of an average head of hair and is the standard construction for our semi-custom lace wigs. This density is best for someone who wants a full natural looking hair style.

Heavy: This density is 150% thickness of an average head of hair. This density in full lace wigs is usually for someone who wants a very full hair style.

Extra Heavy: This density is 180% thickness of an average head of hair. This density in full lace wigs is usually worn by entertainers who desire an extremely heavy style. This density is not recommended for a person looking for a natural everyday look.
